The brief was to bring out the best in the Grade II listed property, which had been altered in the 1930s following a fire in 1926.
The refurbishment works enhanced the historic features of the house, while adaptations allowed the property to continue to function as a family home.
Modest alterations included a new bow window to bring light into the family kitchen, and a replacement cantilevered stone staircase to link the basement and first floors.
