This derelict farmhouse had been unoccupied since the 1960s and, although only two external walls could be retained, all the original materials, including rubble stone and substantial oak beams, were sorted and salvaged for re-use in the new property.
Effectively, this is a new house built on the footprint of the old. The design reflects our sensitive use of local vernacular detailing blended with stylish contemporary features, creating a comfortable family home that sits happily in its rural surroundings.
